This time, our lovable heroine is called Ava and she meets someone at a writing retreat in Italy. It seems like a perfect match in her eyes, until they come back to real life, and she realises how incredibly polar opposites they are. Cue in Ava’s friends, her dog and her boyfriend’s roommates and you get yourself a delightful comedy that you can binge read happily. It’s the exact kind of feel good factor we need in 2020. I am not going to reveal any spoilers here, but I’d like to add that I really loved the scene where everyone frantically gives new boy Sam directions. It made me laugh out loud.
